George Washington

George Washington 1732-1799

Journal Entry #13

My most favorite or liked important historical person in the world is George Washington.  He is America’s first president. He also lead America’s freedom away from the British by wining the Revolutionary War in 1759. I choose him because he did one of the most tremendous things like become a Commander in Cheif of the Continental Army and was elected by the delegates in the Second Continental Congress assembled in Philadelphia in May 1775.  He was elected because he had expirience and true leadership.

Hi Jennifer,
You picked such a great historical person.
I wonder how he handle all those jobs.
It must have been so stressing and frustrating.
You have to be really brave and dedicated to be the president.
It’s just to much work.

Hey Jennifer!

I really liked how you researched on G.W. I would have chose him too, but I tried to find a woman from P.I. Haha. I really think that your blog is really cool. I didn’t even know that you like Deathnote just like Amber. Haha. I also really like how you make the color of the fonts different.

Hey Jennifer,
Thanks for commenting me on my posts. Well like Jonathan said “George Washington is so original.”
I think that you chose a good person to want to look up. He was truly our first president. Although, I am wondering if he ever said anything about slavery or just wasn’t interested or as common as a few decades ago. Well, I will see you tomorrow. Hope you have a good time of the rest of the year.

Hey Jennifer!

I like how you chose to research George Washington. I think it’s interesting how he was a general, then a president. Makes me wonder how stressed out he might’ve been. I mean, leading troops in battle must be tiring, but leading a nation must be even worse. Well anyways, see you at school.
